Led strategic communications to elevate the Association’s mission across Illinois. City of Chicago Office of Emergency Management
City of Chicago, Chicago Park District
Directed communications for one of the nation’s most advanced emergency management and 9-1-1 centers. Advised executive leadership, developed public safety campaigns, and oversaw digital, social, and traditional media initiatives. Led a multi-agency communications team during the 2011 NATO Summit and grew social engagement by 12% through coordinated messaging, outreach, and crisis communications leadership.
Managed communications and operations for 85 city park facilities, including six cultural centers. Built community partnerships, led marketing and PR campaigns, and served as media spokesperson. Produced press materials, speeches, and campaign content for capital projects and major events while ensuring budget accountability, contract compliance, and effective change management across teams.
